The biggest MacDaddy is the high output 47 watt, 3000 lumen green and white light not measured in the number of LED’s since these chips are different. MacDaddy Mega Mac Plus
This is most expensive and strongest light in the MacDaddy product line. This light is a custom light that will drop ship from the light builder. These lights have been built and are ready to ship. This light is intended for the angler who has a need for an extreme light. We recommend the GW 60/60 or the GW 75/75 for the recreational angler ($130-150). The HO (Hight Output) series is intense in the amount of light and lumens output. But, requires strong deep cycle batteries to run. The most sophisticated state of the art lamp ideal for dirty waters.
Here are the specs:

- Light is 12″ long, contains green and white strip of LED’s (Hybrid)
- 33 ft 16/3 SJTW high visibility cord, rated for water
- 3 solid brass battery clips 2 in-line fuses
- Green strip has 1 1/4 meter has (75 led’s) 5630 green LEDs 2.50 amp draw tested x 12vdc = 30 true watts at clip
- These Green 5630 LEDs are Samsung and are Korean made and assembled onto strips in China
- The Green 5630 LED is design rated at 24 watts per meter
- Green LEDs yield +/- 60 lumens per watt 30watts x 60=1800 lumens green
- White Strip is 1 1/4 meter 75 led’s – 5050 white LEDs 1.35 amp draw tested x 12vdc = 16 true watts at clip
- White 6500K LEDs yield +- 80 lumens per watt 16watts x 80=1280 lumens white
- MacDaddy Plus has a Total of 46 watts = Total 3080 lumens. If you fire off both strips
- Note – 50watt Halogen bulb is about 1000 Lumens
- The square yellow looking leds are 5050 whites
- The longer more slender silver color leds are the 5630 greens
- Requires deep cycle battery due to watt draw, this is not a battery friendly light
- DO NOT use this light out of water.
- 33 foot cord insulated & filled, rated for water, other light builders use garden cords.
- MacDaddy has distinguished color cord if it is “red & black” = Think Mac
- In-line 5 amp blade fuse, keep it moist in electrical grease or vasoline, rinse cord after use.
- Three custom made brass alligator clips (better than copper), keep vasoline on spring inside
- Spring relief attachment at base of shrimp light to save cord
- Stainless Steel O-ring for accessories (for rope & clip attachment)
- 120 lb longline clip included to clip light on rope to adjust depths
