Green LED Fishing Lights

Green LED Fishing Lights – Model GG 75/75

Green LED fishing lights are NOT all created equal. LED lights are battery friendly. The other consideration when buying a fishing light is how the light glows underwater. This is most important when used for shrimping. If you set your fishing light wrong, you could steer the shrimp away.

  • The big box retail & fishing stores carry the worst selection of LED fishing lights.
  • The best built LED fishing lights are those built by locally near the water
  • It is important to understand the “glow” the light emits underwater
  • A great light allows you to set the depth easy
  • A great light give you a place to add a rope and weight
  • A great light gives you a 5 year saltwater warranty
  • A great light is buoyant and does NOT lean over
  • You want a light that sits upright and vertical in water column
  • You want to make sure the light cord is rated for water (has W) stamped on cord
  • You want a solid insulated filled electrical cord
  • Why? If the cord nicks the water cannot fill the sheath and corrode the wires
