MacDaddy Lights
The MacDaddy shrimp two color hybrid shrimp light series brought our sport the 2nd generations LED shrimp. This innovative engineering of the first hybrid shrimp light gave us 3 lighting options. We went from a static single green strip LED shrimp light from 2010-2013, to a 2014 hybrid duel strip (white and green) shrimp light. This was game changing.
Bottom line, I own (2) of the MacDaddy GW 75/75 and (2) of the GW 60/60 and 1 of the MiniMac little 8″ shrimp lights by MacDaddy.
Here is a 4 light configuration I use with my 4 MacDaddy lights. See the diagram showing number 1 to 4 shrimp lights, match these numbers with the light chart to see what model I used.
#1 Light = GW 75/75
#2 light = GW 75/75
3rd light is GW 60/60
4th light is GW 60/60.

MACDADDY 60/60 Shrimp Light

Model GG – 60/60 led’s – Choose ALL GREEN (GG) (both strips GREEN =120 LED total/60 per strip)
Model GW – 60/60 led’s – Choose One Green/One White (GW) strips = 120 LED total/60 per strip
- 10 inch housing, lightweight, smaller and compact
- Most affordable hybrid model ($130), other model 30 LED more ($150)
- Green 60 LED strip pulls 14.4 watts or 1.2 amps for a total of 900 lumens, (Sharp 100,000 hrs)
- White 60 LED strip pulls 12.0 watts or 1.0 amps for a total of 1100 lumens
- Only light to have no watt loss output from traveling down cord
- Lights power test out as specified at battery terminal, other companies lose 1.5+ watts
- Dual hybrid, perfect balance of power, so that the white does not overpower the green like other companies that have copied the MacDaddy build. Beware.
- Parts machined for waterproof fit and NO 5200 sealant used internally
- In-line blade 5 amp fuse to protect light, replaceable.
