Since 1970’s, Ed Shumaker has been the equipment choice of hundreds of shrimpers in Central Florida. His hand craftsmanship dip nets and his famous innovative “CFN”, collapsible frame net is top of the line. Since 2007, his collapsible frame net has been the box net of choice since it rolls up and is easy to transport. A dip net is not just a dip net. Be careful of what you purchase, be aware of those components that make for a dip that that will last a long time.

Note: Some South Florida Counties forbid the use of a frame/box net (Dade County etc), please contact FWC to make sure your allowed to use such a device in your local waters.

Ron “Capt” O’Brian lives in Deltona, FL and rents a booth at the Oak Hill Flea Market (Sundays Oct – May) 7:30am to 1:00pm. You are more than welcome to come to his home, and if delivery becomes a problem, he been known to deliver. If you have problems, he will work with you. Does net repairs.
