empty and hanging over the river, the sock was pointing straight north, between the surface chop and the wind driven
tide, them little buggers looked like Cigarette boats going down the river. Got set up around 7:30 gave up on the wind
at 11:00, wind never died. Got a good 1/2 gallon. The bright spot of the evening was getting to meet up with Specialist
and talk strategies and swap shrimp stories. The surprise of the evening, I'm standing there dippin a few shrimp and
I here a voice asking if there was anyone named Craig here {thought the Shrimp Gods were speaking to me} I turned
around and Capt. Lee was there,
we talked about pier shrimping ideas, and did a test with her LED lite, unfortunately the shrimp had given up on
the wind too. I gotta say though the LEDs are the way to go, they eliminate the obstacles of lites hanging in your way,
and don't spook the shrimp. with a little practice on placement and depth these babies will be a definite plus.
Ya did good Nite Owl, I LIKE EM. Thats all for now, Charging my batteries for Saturday nite.
See Ya, Craig
