Remembering the discussion about surf clams the other day my satellite sinker came in with a coquina clam impalled on a wire.  So I did some research and it appears our surf here on the east coast is full of Coquina Clams.  I copied a blurb from a website that says pompano and whiting love them.  I caught a few of both today here in Bethune Beach and sure enough both species had the tiny clams in their stomachs.
