Come across as a naysayer. Riverzoo is a ZOO enough already!!! I would ponder ones thought or agenda to clog the ramps,Parking lots or go-to spots on the river even more so through social networking. Unfortunately I would consider the crowds to be at or beyond capacity at times. Considering even more folks partaking- SE fish management council and FWC, Constantly monitor and record data. This will eventually will lead to more management resulting in tighter restrictions and smaller bag limits. Just last year the City of New Smyrna Beach, considered charging a Boat ramp fee recognizing the crowds to be a potential cash cow. On two separate occasion's last year I waited at the Boat launch over an hour after the tide slacked to pull out. I did have to work the next day but it could have been worse some of our members live on the west side of the County while others are from Orlando,Ocala and beyond and have to make the drive to and from as well.Some are fortunate enough to be able to rent a boat lift for a portion of the year to alleviate the stress of possibly not finding space. It's great Capt. Lee, provides this site at no charge to post and share information on our favorite resource "SHRIMP" like most things moderation is the key. This way our children and our childrens children can enjoy "Sport Shrimping" the way we do today.
