They say that about half the applications require additional information. When mine came, I got the notice that it had cleared one stage one day, and recieved the license in the mail the next day! After medical I think only Prefessional Qualifications remain. Posts: 7778 04/20/11 11:15 AM Captain USCG Licensed NEW SMYRNA DELTONA	It took 8 months to get mine in 2007 but they were just shutting down the Miami processing center and centeralizing the apps to speed the process up in Virginia. I hit no snags, and they never contacted me for any more info. Took class in June of 2007 and license came Feb 2008. I have the old paper framing license, and Frank will get a passport booklet type.

Posts: 519 04/25/11 11:45 AM Captain USCG Licensed OAK HILL - 2 Limits 2011	I got another letter from the Coast Guard. I'm using my Navy time as part of of my Sea Service time. I need to send them "CG Form 719S or equivalent" ("Transcript of sea Service, History of Assignments, or acceptable military tracking software printout documenting all information required by 46 CFR 10.225(B)(6)"). The "DD214 is NOT considered acceptable evidence of sea service." Another hurdle...
