I love that bridge everything that goes into and out of the lagoon swims through there including shrimp. I am surprised I never see any boats shrimping around the down current side of the finders near the main channel where the current is strongest and has current merging lines like H/C ? . I always thought that area on the northeast side could be good for dipping? However during the main season I never go there; I only go there in the early fall around mullet run time to fish off the bridge. maybe I am missing something good?

I think I said before to you guys that one night while fishing for trout and weekfish the shrimp ran good there and I caught 3 gallons in my cast net at the end of the tide... This was back before the hurricane got the sail boat stuck in the pocket behind the bridge bulkhead and this is where I let my castnet sink way down and loaded up when I only seen one or two up top. I was catching them about a dozen or more on each throw and my bait net is only 6 ft.

I have seen a few guys use box ( frame ) nets on that bridge also, do you guys do well at times there shrimping during the main season on the bridge; dip nets or frames??

Have you guys ever limited on that south bridge?

Last: is there any good shrimping around the north bridge? I have only been there a few times in my boat fishing at night in the summer but it does look shrimpy... Lots of weedlines on the nights I have been there.......
