Posts: 1043 08/12/10 11:44 PM - 4 Limits 2011	Shellfish, over near Ft. Myers, at Bokeelia I knew a few Capt's and they would bait for the shrimp but not sure of their collection method. Seems baiting might be worth a try. I do know we always took Oak Hill Shrimp with us as there is no comparison in taste. After trying ours one Cap't offered to trade 2lbs for 1 of ours, we did and used his for bait. If life is measured by family and friends, I am the wealthiest woman in the world!

Posts: 533 08/13/10 10:05 AM	Keys shrimp (around the causeway) don't run too large, but they can be plentiful. The Harris Gap Bridge near Sugarloaf Key is the best I have ever tried. You need a boat, but it is very protected waters so any boat will do. Frankk
