I went out tonight to the big bridge over the Banana river on 528 at the end of the Canaveral locks. Arrived about 8:30 and there were 12 people on the east side of the bridge. I ended up under the bridge exactly in the middle because that was about the only spots open. It is amazing the 12 people at 4 traps each can take up so much space on the sea wall. I put out 4 traps and 1 light. A slight breeze from the north east with no moon to speak of. I ended up with only 2 shrimp of decent size and never saw one in the light. The other people that were there caught nothing and by 10:30 I packed up and came home. The other people were beginning to leave also.
When I came back to the main land, I did not see anyone under the 528 bridge on the Indian river. Is there some reason for this or is it just not a popular spot? I may give that a try tomorrow night.
