Shrimping report called in to me by our Sponsor, Ron "Net Master" O'Brien
He dipped Monday night off the S. Bridge and got over 2 plus gallons of smalls, some mediums and even a few larges. Ron said the breakdown was about 80% smalls, 18% mediums and 2% larges [5.5 inches to 6.25]. He did NOT use a frame net.
His friends dipped on Sunday [Father and son] and they spanked 5 gallons off the NSB S. Causeway bridge but they had the help of the O'Brien collapsible frame net. They went back to the bridge Monday night with Ron, and spanked another 4 plus gallons [used the frame net again]. They were dipping 13-15 smalls at a time.
The fishing was going off as well Monday night, (3) drum were caught with one weighing in at 16lbs.
They did see boat shrimping going on in the ICW.
