seeing that the shrimp haven't started running yet, it was back down to check the crab traps.  It seems that I feel better when I'm out on the water.

the first trap of the day was not bad, one stoner with barely legal claw and two nice size blues

The next two traps came up empty but the fourth trap had crabs with one keeper claw.  Things were already better them last week.

I relocated two of the traps, still looking for the right spots.  Then headed over to check the last trap. 

All those crabs and only two keeper claws.

Count for the day:

2 keeper blue crabs
4 keeper claws.
