Captain's Mate Posts: 708 09/13/11 11:28 AM	If the dryer is running ( drum turning) and just no heat. Then the thermostat has gone out and it also blown the thermo fuse which is in line to the thermostat. Check to make sure there is no build up of lint in the hose or on the heater coils.Around a $50.00 repair if you do it yourself. Deltona

Captain's Mate Posts: 708 09/14/11 03:48 PM	95% of the time it's not the element. You can check it with a volt meter. Just unplug the dryer and test it on ohms. You can jump the the fuse and start the dryer. Be careful because if the thermostat is bad it will burn your clothes and can start a fire. The fuse does not look like any other kind of fuse, that you find in other stuff. It's metal and kind of looks like a flat cowboy hat. lol Give me a call if you want 407-three two one- 3436 I'll be home around 6pm Deltona
