Glad to hear you are doing well I suppose even the navy can put out a tough old swab. Just remember what the little folks would say to us when the s#$% hit the fan, pop Buddha in your mouth and nothing can hurt you. Don't know if there was any truth to it but this old grunt is still kicking. Seriously though gal we are all pulling for you and looking forward to seeing you on the water.

I wanto thank you all for all the well wishes, prayers and love during a trying time.

On 1/23/12 I coded in a neurology office while Anethesiologist was injecting a combination of steroid and marcaine into my cervical facet. I was scheduled for 6 injections. They numbed up the 6 sites and proceeded to inject round 2 and something went wrong.

I was injected with epinephrine to try to reverse the compromise.

They stabilized me, I was totally alert thru this whole accident, 911 took over in the office, I was able to breathe on my own after respiratory assistance was given to via ambu bag. I went on to develop a GI bleed, and a chest xray suggested I aspirated into my lungs. I was admitted for 36 hours for IV infusion of 3 different antiobiotics [white count was climbing].

Now the million dollar question is, what the heck happened. I am undergoing tests now because Internal medicine has to figure out what happened. Did I go into arrest because of allergy or...

capt lee is up and about do quite well. back to her self , worrying her little behind off about seminar related things and upcoming events. was able to spend some much needed time with the CAPT to discuss the seminar and other related items trying to keep everyone informed as to her status. she will be appearing here on the site in the next day or so to inform of her healing and such items.

again thanks to all the prayers and well wishes , she does appreciate them all

FIRST OFF LET ME START BY SAYING CAPT. LEE IS RESTING AND RECUPERATING AT HOME AND DOING BETTER. Just to keep ALL members informed as to what CAPT .LEE HAS BEEN THROUGH THIS LAST WEEK. As everyone knows LEE has been having some problems with her neck and shoulders. Monday lee went in for a nerve block , to block some of the pain she has been dealing with for quite some time. while laying on the table on her stomach the dr's were preping her for the surgery with numbing medicines . thats when something went wrong, we are uncertian at this time what went wrong , but as soon as the dr admininstered the the anestesia she began going into paralisis from the neck down . which she wasnt able to notify the dr as to what was happening to her, and minutes later , she began to crash going into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing on her own. at this point the drs had to revive her and admitt her to halifax daytona. the drs performed tests to which Lee is...
