ARS = Atlantic Red Snapper.  People began to adopt that abbreviation as not to confuse the 'Red' or Redfish, Red Drum, Channel Bass with it.

Structure = Any type of relief that sits up off the bottom.   Basically stuff that will break you off and cut your line to shreds but areas that hold fish.  Areas that show a 'relief' on a bottom machine have good structure.

Bottom = Dips, nooks, crannies, changes ups and downs, hard to soft back to hard areas of bottom that offer variances for fish to hang out, rapid transitions from deep to shallow would be good bottom (like flounder)

It has been a pleasure being a member of this forum for the last couple of months but one thing is still giving me a bit of difficulty.. all the acronyms the seasoned members toss in their posts. Being new to the area and a new member, is there is list as to what all the acronyms are referring to?
