The rules for the last shrimping tourney of the season - there is NO longest shrimp for this last and final tourney.

We award medallions for a posted report and an additional one for a picture. These chips go into a bag and I draw out the winner lottery style.

Due to the size of our community, we are going to break down this year's shrimp tournament into 2 parts and make this as fair as possible for everyone to enjoy.

Quick read version of contest:

2nd Annual Captain's Tourney - Ends May 15th, Prize Announcement

The tourney will continue to May 15th, I did not realize we had trappers and since I am not up on T-Ville and Melbourne, I rely on community to let me know what is going on with their season. I would NEVER end a tourney and screw anybody out of an opportunity to participate.

Our sponsors came thru for us and I did not have to threaten their life! . They believe in this community and offered to sponsor next year 2011 shrimp season too!

First Place winner gets to choose between LED Light, or a Frame Net by the NetMaster Ron O'Brien, net includes stryfoam marker ball and 12lb downrigger ball which holds the net open to make a rigid frame.

2010 Florida Largest Shrimp Tourney RULES & Prizes

I have decided to start the "LARGEST/LONGEST" shrimp tournament for the 2010 shrimp season. As we build members here I will do the tournaments more frequently [monthly]. Tourney start date effective 02/09/2010, and ending date to be March 31st, 2010.

The tournament is FREE, and you must be a Yuku member of this board and have contributed at least one post in a forum 24 hours BEFORE you submit your tourney entry. The Captain has the right to over rule any tourney reg. Membership to this board is FREE, and I do NOT share the members email addresses.
