Just got a New Greenie Shrimp Light! Going Shrimping Tonight

To my Shrimping Friends :
I went to the Railroad bridge North of Titusville last week and caught a couple dozen Large, & some jumbo Shrimp. however I did miss some. So my wonderful wife bought me the LED Greenie Pro Shrimp Light, It just came in today, and I'm going out tonight, I plan to catch all those shrimp that got by me last week, with this light, I should be able to see them MUCH better and sooner! The LED Greenie Pro Shrimp Light Is well made and rugged. I have never seen any thing like it before. I can't wait to try it out! The Boat motor is running smooth, & I'm taking my grandson along. I'm sure he will have as much fun As I have! Good Shrimping to all!

01/02/12 shrimp run cocoa beach

I started out on the cocoa beach bridge at 5pm to get a spot we wind was gale force at times the shrimp started to come in 1 and 2 at a time after 9pm then the wind backed off and thay were 3 and 4 at a time around 9.30 broke my net around 10.30 due to some older jurk that wants to take up 12ft of bridge and try to set his on rules up so needless to say its game on with this guy i will not be so nice to him anymore but anyway i would have got 100 if i stayed till 12am but i ended up with 53 not to bad but thats how it gos on the bridge checked it last night and 3 shrimp were caught thats it in 3 hrs so it hit or miss got to go to know my advice bring some freinds with you and camp out if you want a spot all the shrimp were med to large 13 in the picture all were 7in or just a littel over the curent was going north all night and wind was 15 to 35mph all night

Got 30 large to mid shrimp brevard bridge slow flow not a lot of wind but it was good to see them out this early I will keep you posted

Cant say what bridge but got 30 large shrimp in 4 hrs not bad for this early 7 shrimpers someone got 60 that the best I have seen in the last 30 days so I will keep you posted

Had the day off work so decided to take a ride over to see what was happening. 4 traps 3 lites and a dip net. When I arrived nice 5 to 10 mph wind from the SE 30 minutes after dark wind died. Outcome for the night seen 3 fish swim by the lites 3 crabs 1 manatee and ten acres of grass. Ok now the shrimp count 1,2,3, oh wait them are left overs from dinner at boston beefs. I did not see one shrimp but an enjoyable time out. Went by 520 there was 4 dippers there didnt stop to see if they was getting any.

My name is Lance and I live in Rockledge. I grew up fishing and shrimping the Melbourne area. Moved to Rockledge 7 years ago found me a few spots and im still at it. This is my second post so I hope I get it right. Took my son tonight, or last night at this point, and we got a few shrimp. These guys were sneaking around the north corner of a seawall on the pineda causeway. We got there about 8pm and set up on the seawall with the traps facing east like I do most nights I catch the wing out of the south or north. By 9pm we had 2 shrimp. Since we were under the relief bridge we were getting a strong breeze from the north so I figured they would flow right into the traps. It wasn't until I rigged my rod and started fishing that I realized the wind was...

Hi everyone. I shrimp the titusville bridge often. I will be giving some posts this winter about what I nab there. I did great this past summer. No 5 gals, but usually 2-4 gallons. I seemed to miss the good nights and it took a while to figure out the underwater lights that I needed and the best spots on both bridges. Always ask an expert or the guy that is doing all the dipping. They know all the tricks. One question about moons and tides. What are the best moon phases and tides for shrimping?
