Got set up around dark with little to no shrimp for about the first hour. Then they started coming here and there till a little after 10 so we packed it up and went home. There were about 8 to 10 other boats and most left when we did. ended up with just over a gallon and a count of 187, some medium but mostly large shrimp. Hoping the shrimp faucet turns on one of these days.

The Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville has been closed for repairs for several days now. Anyone now planning to launch from Parrish Park now has to use SR 3 out of Oak Hill, driving back south to Parrish Park. I live about 5 miles from Parrish Park, but the round trip detour was about 50 miles. There is no indication of when the bridge will be open again.

Posted BY Capt Lee - From "The Snooker"

Our trip to the rail road bridge got postponed due to rough water (the
trip was planned in a flats boat, wouldn't have been pretty). We did
pop over to the Garden Street bridge in Titusville though and folks were
dipping from the west side of the bridge every now and again. Nothing
to write home about, we need a little bit of a warming spell and a
southerly wind to start things up at the bridge and at Haul Over. Will
post results when I have them. This is a great little website by the
way.

the snooker
