I have four 9" green fluorescents<br>I normally anchor sideways and space my lights&nbsp;out equally and throw them<br>out as far as i can and&nbsp;I have them set up to be about&nbsp;two feet&nbsp;off the bottom,<br>and I shrimp in about 8 to 10' of water. 			<description><![CDATA[ While you don't have the current flow driving shrimp to you at Tidelessville, but you have wind and structure all around the RRB.That, and fish. If you sink your lights very deep, they will swim over your lightsm and the trout and drum will see the shrimp and go for them, because the shrimp are lighted with your shrimp light bulbs.<br><br>This is not true for the LEDgreenies. The LED light pattern is a fat disk of lightcreated by the spiral wrap of the LEDs. However, each LED's light amount given off is dependent on your eye position relative to the LED. As your eye position moves from the directly overhead position to a 60 deg postion, the amount of light given off is only 50% of the directly overhead position. As you move towards even larger angles, the light given off diminishes even faster towards no light. The water clarity reduces the disk size. Dirtier water, smaller disk size. 			<description><![CDATA[ I'm planning to supply the 5" longline SS&nbsp;clips with 5/16" opemimg, along with a 1/4" braided Nylon Line with each light, as well as selling the combo as an acessory item. Just add your favorite weight and you're ready to go shrimping.<br><br>My question is: How long should I make the cord as a standard cord? I'm thinking between 12-15 feet long should be sufficient, even for most of the deep holes that I know about. What say you?<br><br>I bought 200 clips and a 1000' spool braided nylon cord plus an electric cord cutter to fuze the cut. But I wasn't pleased the way it worked. Before that I bought a small tube light. I do like your flounder light. Looks pretty nifty. Heres the new battery. 120 AMP hours. That one on charge is one I had to buy one day when the batteries went dead in haulover during a fishing tourney. Talk about a hit to the pocket.
