I wanted a change of pace and needed to renew my pass so I headed to Smyrna Dunes Park this morning. First they didn't have the new passes! They were letting old pass holders in free. Our tax dollars at work! Could not get a hit! Not even a lizardfish would bite. I finally caught a small jack. Saw Salty the sheepherder go by. Headed over to the south bridge but the entire parking lot is closed off with the construction. So I headed home. Well, almost. The truck would not go by Sleepy Hollow! I didn't have my boots but stopped anyway and made 12 casts. Caught two under-sized flatties and then headed home. Turned into a good morning!

has anyone thoght of using their long line clips to attach the box net to their vessel? im gonna give it a whirl . i have the rigid box net so i know it will work for me. i also installed bimini hold downs on the gunnel for my clips to attach to the boat. oneday ill be able to get me one of those collapsable frame nets that mr. obrien makes. along with 1-2 more of the led greenies. just some could use a small tip for easily attaching the box net to your boat, if you havent already thought of it.

Does it just delay the run or does it make it not as productive of a season?
Thanks...
